RULES FOR THIS TOURNEY

This Tourney will be for 28 Days
Start Date will be February 1st 2015 12am Friday Ends at 11:59 February 28 2015

1.Pompano
2.Bluefish
3.Snapper
4.Jack Crevalle
5.Shrimp

Rules
Entry is FREE
1.You must submit a picture of yourself here in this thread to particapate, this way all know who they are fishing against, also ask all questions here

2. A Clear picture of you and the fish and it being measured next to a tape measure that can be read and the secret print out or object in the photo, I put up or have a judge put up a 12am start day.
MEASUREMENT IS--> Over All Length so you can Pinch the Tail to get every bit in.

This picture would have to also have the fisherman in it with a smile not just your feet.
So take 2 pics one of the measured fish and one of you holding the fish
3. It must be caught from land, you would be lame to enter a boat caught fish anyone can catch a fish from a boat. Not so easy to find the bIg ones from land, this is honor based.

4. All entry photos of fish will have to be submitted with in 48 hours of catch. No oh I forgot to submit this one-Won't count. So I suggest you submit all of your catchs that hold some size. We will weed out the smaller and keep the biggest to count.

5. It will be your responsibility to watch the leader board and correct any issues with me as we go, you will have 36 hours after I submit a change to the leader board for you to correct any mistakes.

6. A total of the combine lengths of the largest of each species will be totaled and that will be your number. So this means a Snapper at 25 inches,a bluefish at 21 inches and a Jack Crevalle at 30 inches , pompano at 16 inches and a Shrimp at 7 inches = 99 inches

7. No snatching or snagging of fish.

This is for FUN and make sure you have fun.


Judges to help if needed, I will have them judge a photo if I am not 100% on size.

3 questions ,How r we going to know ,the ones that got boats r not going to used it?
and Permit don't count?
and shrimp ,is it amount? or size of shrimp what count?

I think the judges should just make sure the picture looks like it's on land/bridge and a fresh fish not one that has been sitting in the boat ice box and is discolored/bent from the ice...it be a big waste of time/gas for a boater to catch something then go back to shore just to take a pic lol just my 2cents especially since there's no money involved either.

My friend for some of us its not about the money I love money don't get me wrong.
And some of us got spots in Miami our backyard that we could catch most of the fish mention .Damn I missed my skiff.

I would like to be a judge. Also so there is no question if mine were caught Boatless

I'd like to judge I won't be completely setup by then to compete.

It's definitely not about the money for me I was saying that cuz I'm glad there's none involved Or that would entice those with the boat to Take advantage lol

Nope. I know most of the members that own boats and they would never cheat. Not even for money. And I know you were kidding.

Any snapper species?

This Tourney is to give you something to do while your fishing next month and have some competitiveness and FUN

First off no ones going to cheat Right, I did not think so thats solved


Snapper would be any species the largest by length so what ever the largest of the snapper species one catches, I would thick most would target Muttons but maybe a Mangrove or Dog would match the mutton. So fishing next month you would enter your largest Snapper by length. Which ever it was.

The Shrimp I threw in there for Fun and it is as i said the largest one by Length so were searching for a Jurassic Shrimp.

awesome sounds like fun. hey tommy if you want ill tie up and dozen or more crappie jigs to throw in like a prize back or something. fly tying is like the only skill I can offer lol

Since I'll be landlocked in the icy grips of the interior Georgia mountains for the duration of the tournament, I'll gladly be a judge. At least I can live vicariously though others.

You need to post a pic of yourself here in this thread before the 1st would be best.

This Tourney is for the entire month of February 28 Days and its for fun to post your better catches and maybe win something.

We may have a BBQ first week of March to hand the winnings out still working on that not sure how my schedule will be.

Judges will selected but won't be needed unless there is an issue then they will have the Say as to the issue.
