Clean up August 21st 9am Channel two bridge, al that would like to help and cleanp up the bridge area please lets us know if you can make this cleanup, it take about two hours and its a good time talking fish.

We me meet at Mile marker 73 Islamorada Florida Keys, North side parking lot at 9am

Sorry, won't be able to make it, we'll be in Key West for my birthday, but won't be heading back north until Sunday afternoon.

I'll plan to be there. It will be my first time out there at a clean up. Anything special I need to bring? like trash bags, gloves, etc.?

How great of a forum, that you all would do something so nice.
I'm in the area Aug 18-20, coming down from NY. I wish I could be there on the 21.
I'll get a head start for you all and start picking up on the 20th while I'm down there.

We'll see if I can take the day off hopefully!

Ok cool, a bucket and thinga magigger it is then, lol. Home Depot should have them, I'll swing by and see what they got.

Those orange buckets from Home Depot work great. The wind is kinda heavy sometimes and blows plastic bags closed all the time and makes it difficult to put anything in them with the thingamajiggy. Nice work, Ron! Gloves are optional but bring 'em if you got 'em!

I hope to make this one. Having the new edition to the family makes it a little difficult to get out there at times but I am going to try to get down there for this cleanup.

And that was at least a 30 pounder

That was cool as hell, I've never seen one come that close to the surface eating barnacles off a piling like that. He was lucky that none of the weighted treble cuda snaggers were around.

Almost forgot about this. Ran into Herbert at Sauls memorial last night and he reminded me. It's this Sunday.

Sigh unfortunately its a No go for me Tommy..I got no coverage at work that Sunday so I have to be in.

So I will get down to Channel 2 around 4am to fish the morning bite anyone want to meet up before the Clean up?
