Heading south to the Keys in the AM to scout out some fishing and do a little fishing. Is it best to head towards Key West or out towards Key Largo, or does it really make any difference? Thank you.

What kind of fishing are you trying to do? Bridges? Wade the flats?

neither id say. but in between is usually cool(like islamorada - bayahonda).

Just looking for a place to fish. Most likley off bridges. Since we have never been down there i wanted to go and look things over, hit a few spots and talk to some folks. If we have time we will fish.

Channel 5 and Long Key are great bridges.

I've always wanted to try Bahia Honda..I hear there is great tarpon action there and I think that my technique would do very well from the beaches down there. I gotta get my @$$ down there next summer for sure!
