Must be really slow that people don't go fishing anymore. I might hit SI tomorrow and let see what happen. I heard from my cousin... they were catching amberjack at SI on Saturday... still scratching my head on that one. He knows his fish.... so idk.
I know I have read reports that people do catch amberjack at SI.
No report at all...

jack or amberjack this is the question.
fishing is general is very slow now, then the heat is the killer.

it is not too uncommon to get amberjacks from piers or jetties that are close to a reef, but more than likely at Sebastian Inlet it was Jack Crevales. Look at the Sebastian Inlet reports from the government. http://www.sebastianinletdistrict.com/f ... ethod=list
When you go let us know how it is going.

Re: No report at all...
well went to skyway instead of SI when I heard mack was bitting... >.<
for there around 6pm on the 29th... didn't check tide or anything and was hoping for some sunset mack action... didn't see any at SSP end. Got a bunch of pins near bait shop for bait. Got a few large thread fin shad (greenies/greenback whatever you want to call them) 4.
Fish near the end of SSP, nothing happening there really. A few trouts, I think here and there.
I found my grunt honey hole... ended with 3 large grunts and one smaller flounder. Tide was really slow, so i wasn't able to drift out bait for grouper at all. Also a lot for tarpoon rolling at night.
The tarpoon and jack are tearing up the small greenies this morning at the second bathroom.. so if you want to catch a tarpoon with fly and have a boat here's your chance! Those greenies where about 1-2inches.
