you'll get some reds, blues, jacks, permit, whitting, black drum and many other. you cant go wrong fishing the inlet, theres fish all year round there.

no problem. bring some blue crabs, live shrimp and if at all possible try to get some pinfish and fish the tide changes. dead bait works to but most fish will be taken on live baits.
