jetty park

Post by ggrahamlc »

long time reader, first time poster. Well after reading several posts from jettypark28 i finally decided to head over to jetty park and try alittle fishing this past weekend. After about 8 years of staying away from there with no luck. Got there about 2pm and tried fishing around the back of jetty park(no luck). So headed to the pier area, had live shrimp frozen mullet and no luck after about 3hrs. Then i decided to grab my cast net and get some greenies and about 5 mins after casting one in bam blue fish(small) but hey who cares finally something, casted another one out and bam another small blue. Caught about 12 in about 1 hour. Not many people were catching anything so i guess i was lucky. One guy did catch a doormat flounder about 10lbs. what a beauty. well will be trying jetty park more often. Since it is closer to me then sebastian or ponce inlet.
