Im just starting to shark fish. I have a few reels in mind. It between the shimano tld 25, shimano tekota 700, or penn 114. Any suggestions?

Mono is more abrasion resistant than braid, so if you plan on using braid, it would be wise to top it off with 100 or so yds of mono to prevent cut offs.

Correct, fresh is always best, but frozen is still better then nothing. We have caught plenty of sharks on frozen bait, as long as it is wrapped well it should be ok in the freezer for a long time.
