Between the weather and work, it has been a couple months since I could get out and fish. Finally on Friday the prediction was for calm seas, so time to dust off the equipment and see whats happening...

Ever since June I thought my best shot at landing something decent off the beach would be kingfish. So far, I have not landed a single one, although I suspect I lost a couple fish. I have caught a ton...

Launched at 5:50.

At 6:05 I spotted 3 tailers and they were within casting distance of me...it was still DARK. By the time I casted they were literally 15ft from me...I felt like I was being watched...

There were two Yaks that tried to launch at Daina yesterday AM..... They looked to be well equipped and you would think that they were experienced Yakers but I think other wise.... Conditions were 17...
